The Graduate and Professional School is excited to announce the Spring 2026 Grad School 101: Exploration Series (Virtual). Covering various aspects of the graduate school experience, this series is designed to equip prospective graduate students with the knowledge and insight to start planning their graduate education journey. Individuals who participate in at least two Grad School 101 sessions will be eligible to be paired with a Graduate School Application (GSA) Mentor. Vashisht College of Medicine and current Faculty Aspiring Leadership Fellow with the Texas A&M University Graduate and Professional School, will share how he began his journey in research. He will discuss what inspired him to pursue graduate school and what he enjoys most about his current career. Dr. Sheynin will also provide a glimpse into a typical workday in his field, along with advice and practical tips for students interested in pursuing graduate studies, succeeding as graduate students, and building a career that is both fulfilling and meaningful.
