Grad School presents: My Grad Journey: Using Individual Development Plans for Success in Grad School

Friday, March 27, 2026 at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AMCentral Daylight Time UTC -05:00

My Grad Journey is an innovative individual development plan (IDP) tool that allows graduate & professional students to view their current academic progress and enter details about their academic, research, professional development activities, and career aspirations. My Grad Journey seeks to be the place where students, committee members, and authorized staff can coordinate feedback and be transparent in their annual and ad-hoc review processes as well as provide a way for students to track changes in their trajectory, career goals, and aspirations.

    Through this session, participants will:
    • understand what an individual development plan is and the different IDPs available to them
    • understand the role of IDPs in the mentor/mentee relationship
    • understand the components of the My Grad Journey System (Profile, Reflection & Feedback) and steps to using the My Grad Journey System
    • have the opportunity to update their Student Profile
Actively participating in this event and completing the reflection in Canvas is worth 1 PDU towards a GRAD Aggies Professional Development Certificate for graduate & professional students. Visit grad-aggies.tamu.edu to join.

Note: Registration closes 2 hours before session start time.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
