    This full-day professional development symposium gives graduate and professional students the opportunity to learn about resources and skills from different professional development experts on campus, while earning credit towards the G.R.A.D. Aggies Professional Development certificate program. 

    Students will get to select between two topics during each of the 6 symposium session timeslots (final agenda will be emailed to registrants the week of March 6th).

    • International Student & Scholar Services presents: Intercultural Communications in the Academic Setting 
    • University Libraries presents: RefWorks
    • University Writing Center presents: Managing Graduate Writing Projects
    • Graduate & Professional School presents: Equipping for Mentoring 
    • Center for Teaching Excellence presents: Designing Effective Groups 
    • Center for Teaching Excellence - English Language Proficiency Program presents: How to Pronounce Names: Tips from a Language Teacher
    • Counseling & Psychological Services presents: Anxiety and Motivation in Graduate School

    Resource Fair - During lunch, participants will be able to meet with different professional development service units and facilitators to ask 1:1 questions and learn more about resources.
