Texas A&M University College of Nursing offers degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate level tailored to meet the needs of both new and experienced registered nurses. Our graduates have the opportunity to advance their education through clinical experiences, simulated training with standardized patients and interdisciplinary collaborations across the Texas A&M University System, Texas A&M Health and beyond.
We offer a variety of virtual and in-person, on-campus information sessions for prospective students. Most of these sessions last for approximately one hour with time allotted for questions. Below you will see events currently scheduled. We encourage you to register ahead of time, as space is limited for each session!
Once you submit your registration, you will receive communications via email about what to expect, how to join a virtual session, parking information for in-person sessions and more.

College of Nursing Information Sessions - MSN Options
Howdy! This information session is designed for professional BSN-prepared registered nurses seeking to advance their education and earn a master’s degree in nursing. We currently offer a MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner and a MSN in Nursing Education. Advisors will cover prerequisites, application instructions and processes, and general information about our master of science in nursing program at Texas A&M University.

College of Nursing Information Sessions - DNP Options
Howdy! This information session is designed for professional MSN-prepared registered nurses seeking to advance their education and earn a Doctor in Nursing Practice degree. We currently offer a DNP in Leadership, and coming Fall 2026, a BSN to DNP in Forensic Nursing program. In addition, a DNP in Aerospace and Extreme Environments is coming soon! Advisors will cover prerequisites, application instructions and processes, and general information about our DNP programs at Texas A&M University.

College of Nursing Information Sessions - Certificate Options
Howdy! This information session is designed for prospective students interested in our certificate offerings. We offer two post-graduate certificate options for MSN-prepared registered nurses, our Family Nurse Practitioner certificate program, and our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate program. In addition, we offer a graduate level certificate in Forensic Healthcare for students who are at least BSN-prepared. Advisors will cover prerequisites, application instructions and processes, and general information about our certificate programs at Texas A&M University.
